Fred931 Posted January 4, 2013 Report Posted January 4, 2013 Does anyone have a sound byte stored on their PC or the original Turbo Grand Prix intro cassette still with them? I never heard the thing online or had the original. Do you know what I'm talking about, also, because I know this is a sort-of vague question? Quote
mfewtrail Posted January 4, 2013 Report Posted January 4, 2013 I don't think anyone has cared enough about it to record it/share it in a PC-friendly format. I have mine, but have never listened to them and likely never will. Quote
Addicted To Boost Posted January 4, 2013 Report Posted January 4, 2013 I think Garrett Powered or whatever posted up a sound clip at one point on here... Quote
Fred931 Posted January 5, 2013 Author Report Posted January 5, 2013 (edited) I remember somebody did have a YouTube video of, like, the first thirty seconds, but that was it. He said he would upload the rest but never did... I don't think anyone has cared enough about it to record it/share it in a PC-friendly format. I have mine, but have never listened to them and likely never will. Do you have a deck that you could plug in to your PC or could you send it to me or lend it to anybody who could convert it to a digital file? Edited January 5, 2013 by Fred931 Quote
Garrett Powered Posted January 5, 2013 Report Posted January 5, 2013 oh so people want to hear that? sorry. I will complete it and post it on you tube... Quote
Fred931 Posted January 8, 2013 Author Report Posted January 8, 2013 It's just me, I guess; thanks though. Quote
Garrett Powered Posted January 8, 2013 Report Posted January 8, 2013 it's giving me a reason to play with this camcorder I have had for a year now and never use. I just did this one take and it came out not too bad.... but I want to do another one with some of my collectible items, posters, my plastic credit card key and stuff as its playing. that would be cool. I just need to change the file size before recording I think. this thing records in blu-ray I think. its too much Quote
Garrett Powered Posted January 13, 2013 Report Posted January 13, 2013 the software is hard to use. I need to find more time to mess with it. windows media player and the jvc everio software is bunk Quote
94 olds vert Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 I listened to the sale cassette in my 91 GT and I have to say it was really boring. Quote
Garrett Powered Posted February 26, 2013 Report Posted February 26, 2013 still working on it. stay tuned Quote
alucardinc Posted March 10, 2013 Report Posted March 10, 2013 Any updates? I've just found my original Grand Prix Turbo cassette but have no way to play it other than in the car. Haven't had a cassette player for years. Quote
Garrett Powered Posted March 10, 2013 Report Posted March 10, 2013 I got a tape player and a camcorder. was going to do that today now that the corporate annual sales are complete. and my wheels cleaned up because two of my new tires are down at firestone still. just a million things to do right now.
