raymire59
Hi- Having a few issues with a 1992 Z34. Had not driven it in a pretty good while. Charged the battery and started getting the symptom of the "jittering" door locks. After charging the battery, the locks stopped jumping around, but the power locks stopped working. The battery would also discharge overnight. The battery drain was traced to the circuit with the locks. What (component) causes the battery drain? Also, the inside trunk release stopped working- is this related? The fuse for this circuit was not blown. Any help would be greatly appreciated. rich_e777
Are you sure the battery is not bad? other than that maybe you had some water get into the doors and corroded something in the circuit? Trying to think of what i would look at if i had this issue. Sucks when no one answers. Are the fuses for the trunk release and the door looks in the same fuse box? raymire59
Positive the battery is good- I've had it checked. Was sure I would get some kind of response as I've read about other issues with Luminas + battery hook-up + power lock issues. Mine has had the locks move back & forth before after hooking up the battery, but would always settle down and function properly. What I would really like to know is what is causing the battery drain on this circuit. The power locks do not function anymore and the fuse is not blown. Any info would be appreciated.
