Reride
The top on '92 CS vert is good shape except the staples at the bottom of the rear window are starting to pull out. Does anyone know what size the staples are and if it takes a special staple gun to replace them? Looks like it may not to difficult to do once the the top trim pieces are removed. Since it's been so long...you've probably got your top fixed by now, but I had to do this years ago and just matched up new ones with one of the originals and used a regular electric staple gun that you can get at Home Depot, etc...worked nicely and has been fine ever since. Reride
Yeah I tried that, but all Lowes or H.D. had were T-30 & T-50 staples and they are alot smaller in wire size i.e. weaker.
GOT2B GM
I used a shitload of T-50 stainless steel staples when I installed my new top, with a pneumatic stapler.
