12 pin OBD I DLC Pin out

Help please. I have 1993 cutlass supreme with 12 pin DLC connector that has orange, black, green, and white/black strip wires. I'm assuming black is ground, orange is power. Green and White are??

I am wanting to wire this up to OBDII connector to make the swap for a friend. I just figured out the 16 pin, the couple wires are throwing me.

the OBD1 connector isn't wired the way you think.... there's no +12V in it.

you'll need to flip it around and look at the mating side and it will be like this:

FEDCBA

GHJKLM

that's with the extra indexing edge on the bottom.

A is always ground, M is always 8192 baud communications, B(if present) is used to switch between various modes in certain cars, E (if present) is used for 160 baud and in some cases 8192 baud data).

anyways, those are the pins that are always going to be present, ones other than that are application specific.
