JTalley
I had been driving the car for a bit, so the engine was good and warm. Nothing seemed to be amiss, either. I pulled up and parked on an uphill slope, then killed it and was outside of the car for about ten or fifteen minutes. When I came back, I started it up and it was quietly knocking, just loud enough to hear it. The oil level is good, so that's not it. After a few seconds it stopped, and I've driven quite a bit since then with no issue. What could that have been?
Psych0matt
kinda cold outside? Most likely a lifter. I've had many cars do this. Takes a few seconds to get all lubed up
