Crazy K Posted October 26, 2012 Report Posted October 26, 2012 YUCK! at least is it equal, though i think160 is low. are you sure you spun a rod? I would stick the cheapest 20w50 in and see if it runs quiet with pressure...... is the current oil thinned out totally from gas or????? Quote

Garrett Powered Posted October 29, 2012 Report Posted October 29, 2012 (edited) I got an LG5 block bolted to an engine stand and it ran great before it was swapped out with my project build. I have another block in the parts car. just scrapped a car with a 3.1 too. I am not sure if I want to part with mine yet, but can check at the yard here for you and I know those guys down there will give me it cheaper than that.
