I know what causes the low fuel light and check guage light to be on constantly. There are 15 pins in the back of the cluster that need to be resoldered.

As for the fuel smell when using the heated I haven't a clue.

The guage cluster. It's the unit that houses all of the gauges and the check guage and low flight oh have on. If oh searh the forum there is a we're up on how to fix it. I have done it wasn't that hard.

That is a good link to repair the cluster once you get it out. In this car you will need to remove the dash pad to get the cluster out. It's not that big of a deal to do so. There is only a couple bolts that hold it down and the rest is clipped in.

If your car has a HUD(heads up display) you will need to remove that first before the dash pad comes off.
