m0sh_man
Its idling about 2000 RPM and seems to be running real rich, Im pretty sure its the EGR valve or The TPS sensor, but im not exactly sure, does the 3.4L have a IAC sensor? 1991 GTP 3.4L 5 speed. matthew
sonyman87
sounds like a combination of problems. The Vacume leak would cause the high idle..As far as being rich i would "assume" the O2 sensor is bad. New plugs and wires would be recomended, or alteast regap plugs. How many miles are on that fabulous machine? More info about the problem would help diagnose the situation. Does the high idle go away after warmed up? Does the engine misfire or shake at low rpms with a load? anything eles you left out would be great
Robby1870
Vaccum leak or a bad IAC will cause it to idle high
m0sh_man
code 23 came up, (which is in another thread i made) seems my manifold temp is open (i looked at the sensor and its corroded in two pieces on the end) so ill replace it this week. Anyone know what would cause the car to stall out when i push the clutch peddle in? matthew
