3.4L DOHC - CKP to ICM Harness - can you buy one somewhere?

Hey guys, I am pretty sure my problem with my intermittent running/starting problem is in the 2 wire harness from the Crankshaft Positon Sensor (which was supposedly replaced) and the Ignition module. I see you can get Borg-Warner connectors online and possibly in store from O'Reilly Auto (plenty of them in Texas) but they are expensive ($23 & 25 for each end) or from Rock Auto online (parts S574 & TX3a) for about 25 total.

Love to have an NIB Delco (or whoever made it) since the first one lasted 20 years. Anyone know if they sell them, or someone makes one of that quality without me having to make my own?

I had an issue with mine at one point. The original owner needed to have the engine replaced (drove it without oil!), and somewhere along the way the original wires were cut and spliced, and shorted out against each other or the block. They also had the wrong connectors on the ICM side and the CKP side connector tab was broken off. It had a two-pin connector and my ICM had a 3-pin plug (with the center pin unused).

So I ended up making my own, you can get both connectors for probably less than $5 shipped from mouser.com. Both ends of mine (92 Cutlass LH0) were Delphi Metri-Pack 150 series connectors. http://www.mouser.com/Delphi-Connection-Systems/Automotive-Connectors/Metri-Pack-1502-Series/_/N-1z0zlezZ1ehb5Z1yzmtmt. The wire I got from a spool of the same approximate gauge, and I also wrapped the whole thing in nylon braid for abrasion protection.

There are only 64 items on Mouser under MetriPack 150.2. I can't say for sure that you will have the same connectors, but mine were 12052641 (2-pin) and 12110293 (3-pin). Terminals are # 12160223.

Thanks for the help, but I think I will have to guess a bit, I think those connectors must be for a 3.8 buick engine... they started changing the connectors when they were designing OBDII.

I think the parts are need are 12167116 and 12101899 according to Rock Auto, but when I put them into Mouser it comes back blank

Not sure on the terminals.. need something to help me reference it.

Those are GM part numbers on RockAuto, they won't cross-reference on Mouser.

I pasted the wrong part numbers though, those were the MetriPack 150 connectors, but you need 150.2 series if they're the same as mine (I'm referring to the 92 LH0). The exact part number depends on the size of the wire though. The last page of this catalog has the part numbers for each size connector and page 66 has the pull-to-seat female terminal part numbers: http://delphi.com/connectors/assets/product_brochure/met150.pdf
