scorpion_x9
I want to change my fuel filter. It'd be really easy if it wasn't rusted (AND MADE THE NUT STAINLESS STEEL TOO, WOULD HAVE HELPED!! :x ) and I would've had it done in about 10 minutes. I used mass amounts of rust eater (the PB Blaster stuff with the yellow cap.) and no luck, I even used a special wrench to try to un do it. All I accomplised was causing a nearly rouned nut. So... I figure I might cut it and substitute a different filter and use a short peice of rubber fuel line. I'd really like to keep the existing line intact, anyone have any ideas on how to avoid cutting the line?
Slade901
Use a pipe wrench (monkey wrench). Two of them.
