Hey all,anyways,I've got a Lumina z34,with 3.4l...what's going on is this,the tranny works fine from 1-2,then from 2-3 it wants to soft shift or just plain slip...if I get on it,from 2-3 it will shift just fine,and sometimes,just sometimes,it wants to do the slip soft shift.Anyone have any ideas as to what is causing this? I'm going to do an electrical check on it tomorrow,if it doesn't rain...one other question,could it possibly be the shift solenoids? and if so,where are they located? in the pan?

I have changed out the filter and tranny fluid,no funny smells in the old fluid..not dark color either..,oh yeah,if it is the accumluator springs,is there somewhere that I can get them,Autozone and Advanced don't carry them.

I'm voting for broken springs in the 2-3 accumulator. easy to change by dropping the pan. Some info is available in the FAQ thread for shimming the accumulator.
