No reverse lights

As the title says, both my lights are out, I havent checked the bulbs yet, probably should but since they both stopped working I doubt they burnt out. I normally dont work with electrical type stuff so I need a little direction on what I can start to look for. With 5% tint no reverse lights....not good at all.

Check the fuse an make sure it's good. Then I'd start by checking for voltage just rearward of the reverse switch (might be called a trans range sensor, not sure on this car). It should be located near the transaxle. If you have voltage coming into the switch, but no voltage leaving the switch (when in R), them you've found the culprit--your switch is bad.

possible that the switch on the trans is bad. it has failed on both the 94 and 95 CS sedans. I have been able to open it, clean the contacts, and relubricate it successfully on the 95.
