jackhartjr
Hi folks, thinking about adding an amp to the cassette stereo in the 93 Cutlass vert. Is there an easy way to do this that is pretty much a plug and play deal. Any suggestions on an amp? I am not wanting to blast the neighborhood, just get some volume as I don't hear well. Andrew
Adding an amp to an OEM stereo is never plug and play. Why not upgrade the stereo? New ones put out more power than the stocker does. New speakers would help too, as they can handle more power and wont distort at higher levels like your 20 year old speakers do.
jackhartjr
Thanks Andrew. That makes sense. Any ideas on a stereo that will fit that huge hole in the 93 Cutlass Supreme? Thanks Jack

jackhartjr
I called Crutchfields, they were very helpful! Can even keep the steering wheel controls for $69.00. Thanks for all ya'lls help! Jack
Andrew
Crutchfield is a very good company, but expensive. I use onlinecarstereo.com for great prices. Stereo, install kit, and harness adapter make for an easy install. Then the PAC unit to keep your steering wheel radio controls(SWRC)
