5spdGTP Posted June 7, 2012 Report Share Posted June 7, 2012 i have a '92 GTP and i just replaced the door handles on both sides. passenger works fine but the drivers will only open from the inside. all parts seem to be moving the same whether i pull the outside handle or the inside one but i have no idea why it wont open fron teh outside.... any ideas?? The issue is likely the linkage is out of adjustment for the outside handle. It's accessible be removing the plastic linkage cover on the door behind the handle (one speed nut and one screw to remove the cover) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
94 olds vert Posted June 8, 2012 Report Share Posted June 8, 2012 Adjusting the linkage is pretty easy. Remove the clip on the nut on the rod that connects to the handle.
