Galaxie500XL
I had intended well over a year ago to replace the front struts on my '95, but other stuff invervened... I was asking last year about the closest to OEM struts I could get for the car, the consensus seemed to be the KYB GR2. Had a question, though, the car has over 220,000 miles on it...are there other things, such as the strut mount, or bearing I should also plan to replace while I've got things apart? rich17
You plan on keeping it? Then yes strut mounts and inspect the ball joints, bearings, and tie rods.
