crazyd
Has anyone had any luck with the steering wheel control interfaces out there on a 1st gen GP? Been looking over what's out there and the choices seem to be shrinking.
Addicted2bass
My favorite SWRC interface is the ASWC made my Axxess, easiest to wire and program. But according to their website they have not tested it on the older GPs. However PAC makes one that will work: http://www.pac-audio.com/productSearch.aspx?Make=Pontiac&MakeId=28&Model=Grand Prix&ModelId=1569&Year=1992&YearId=3&CategoryId=
yorxs
I can confirm that the PAC Audio one works, however I find it to be touchy. The volume will either be too slow or way too fast. From what I have read, the Axxess one is better but they have not tested compatablity. I spoke with a tech at Axxess and he said if I was willing to use a Multimeter and give him the values for each button he could make it work for me. I choose the easier route and got the PAC.
