Probably has a newer Windows 64bit system and it won't install correctly as its for a 32bit OS? I have a similar problem with some of the tuning software I use. That is why I keep a good Windows XP SP3 box around.

I am running TunerPro right now on XP x64 SP2 (SP3 does not exist for x64 at all) and I have it running on my laptop with XP x86 SP2. The specs do say that it requires SP3, but there must be just one updated component that it requires, which must have been installed separately by some other program I'm using. I'll take a wild guess and say that's Kernel32.dll... If you don't want SP3 (which I don't) you can try updating just that file manually.

i've ran it with vista and 7 64 bit and 32 bit, works just as it does on 32.

Safest thing to do would be to copy kernel32.dll from an XP SP3 computer, and then copy it into the TunerPro folder. TunerPro will load the DLL directly from here, so then nothing breaks if this doesn't work.

Or, you could just update to SP3: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=24

Whatever you do, don't drop a mismatched kernel32.dll file in your system32 folder.

You dont really create a log... Your log is what you recorded. As long as you have the right definition files, you should be able to connect to the computer, if you can do that you should be able to record.
