Okay the original air box on my 00 GTP was really good for nothing other than lighting on fire turning into a pile of molten plastic. I just installed a cone filter on the intake and now im not sure what to do with my PCM? Is there something special i need to do with it, or mount it? Right now its sitting in the bottom of what was the air box, as i didnt want it shaking around on the frame. Any suggestions?

Whos got PCM trays? I saw Thrasher Performance has one with thier intake setup, but didnt see where you can get the tray separately. Where they found?

Cool thanks for the link! Does anyone know which cars those came in? Rather than pay for the shipping or anything, i can just hit my local yard. They mentioned it was stock on some of the cars.

I'm also interested in what vehicles that tray came in.. I've been thinking about making a CAI for my car, but the biggest thing stopping me was what to do with the PCM..

I picked up one today. It was in a 2002 blazer. There was another one there in an s10 around the same year too. I got it for 4 bucks so I'm not gonna complain if it don't work

Keep me posted on how well it fits. I know i could just zip tied it out of the way, but thats so ghetto rigging. I want it to look clean, like factory.

Will do! I might try to see if it will fit next weekend. I probably won't be ready to make a CAI until later the summer, but that will mostly depend on if this fits or not haha.

The first time I put an intake on my GTP, it was quite ghetto-rigged. Zip-ties, foam tape, and aluminum tape. Seemed like a good idea at the time.

^ See how ugly that is?

It worked but clean is definitely the way to go.

Well, I tried putting it in earlier. It needs some modifications to fit perfectly..at least in the Century. I'm not sure if the GP has more room under the air box. I took some pictures, but my phone died, so I'll upload them later.

This helped me make up my mind on a CAI though. I drove it around the block to see what it would sound like without the air box (not a great idea, I know), and it sounds really awesome. :D

Here are the pictures:

And looking through where the headlight is:

As you can see from the first two, there's a tab that needs to be removed so that it would fit better. A couple other areas could do with some dremel work, but overall, It should work great.

Like I said, the GP might have a little more room in that area, so you might not need to trim anything.

If you have any more questions about fitment, I can always put it back in and see what I can do.

I wanna see how your CAI turns out on your Century . I've been contemplating about building a CAI myself since I am now out of Panel filter replacements.

I'll be sure to make a thread when the time comes. I might just buy a cone filter to put on the end of the stock intake tube until I get the money to make a full CAI
