hoodilio
ok, when my engine is running, in park, with the hood open i can hear this buzzing, almost an electrical shocking noise comming from the pcv valve area. If i hold the pcv boot with my fingers i can feel the buzzing, shocking noise. So a few months ago i replace the pcv and it solved the problem for a bit, now it is back, and so i cleaned my pcv and it didnt help. WTF is wrong? hoodilio
the sound has gotten worse, and ive narrowed it down to it being the pcv valve, ill change it when i get home this weekend. Also, u guys know the boot that goes to the PCV valve from the plastic tube, well my right angle boot thing is cracked, and i cant find any to replace it, any thougts anyone. Compufreek
If it is rubber hose the quick fix is to wrap it decently tight in black electrical tape so it fits snug. That should hold for a long time or until you can find a new one in the j/y.

That plastic / rubber elbow can be bought at a local auto parts store. Or even a hardware store would have something like that that you could trim down. I had to replace some vacuum housing and went the hardware store; worked great, cheap and easy. - Erik
