Mark 97 Cutlass Coupe Posted May 15, 2012 Report Posted May 15, 2012 My 97 Cutlass Supreme Coupe has the split driver/passenger side a/c controls. I would say the difference is about 10 degrees warmer on the passenger side. I read through the FAQ section about this, and don't really see if anyone has really nailed this problem. The last posting was about a year ago. Any new thoughts/experiences on this? Like I said, the compressor and a/c work fine, just warmer (and can't change it ) on the pass side. A year or so ago I got both the dash and door HVAC controls at a pull a part. I have never tested them, so I don't know if they work or not. I have not yet taken the glove box out to check the actuator, but I will if that still seems to be what you guys think the problem is. Thanks. Quote
GtpKo Posted May 16, 2012 Report Posted May 16, 2012 Usually cold on one side and warmer on the other is a problem with the blend doors. That would be the first thing to check. Quote
95 vert Posted May 17, 2012 Report Posted May 17, 2012 Could be a little low on freon. You can move the right temp to hot, correct? Or does it not change at all? Quote
