3400 Engine and Trans Mounts

I think the 3400 is set up like the 3100 is, IIRC only the top of the engines are different so the mount should be the same and in the same place. I`d get the fluid filled ones, drill a hole to drain them out and pump them full of "Liquid Nails" construction adhesive. Did this awhile back and im not regretting it one bit, it holds better than the solid ones ever did.

Thanks guys, right now I ordered the w-bodystore mounts, not knowing that they were different, my issue is I can't find any of the mounts anywhere and I thought since they're the same chassis the 3400 and 3800 would be the same or at least very similar.

Do any of you guys know where I could find the correct ones for the 3400 on a w-body chassis?

Just checking, for those of you that may have done stock replacements before, are these the right ones? I know the engine one is correct, but the solid mount from w-body for the trans looks a bit different..

Trans: (Part Number: 2712 on RockAuto)

Engine: (Part Number: 2796 on RockAuto)

Here I go, getting all excited that I'm going to get rid of this horrible popping noise and then I think I ordered the wrong mounts :D:lol:

Thanks for the help guys

EDIT: It looks like the part number for the 3800 and 3400 are both 2796 for the engine mount and 2712 for the transmission, looks like they are the same, but any other input from someone that's done it before would be great if possible.

It looks like they are the same mounts, I never would have guessed... I know the trans mount is the same because its the same trans, just different gearing

right, i didn't think they would either once I thought about it, but I guess it does sort of make sense because it should be sitting on the same engine cradle on the same chassis. I understand why a Grand Am would be different tho lol
