enzo354 Posted May 3, 2012 Report Posted May 3, 2012 Got bored last weekend and cut some holes in my hood after I got the rear subframe back in. Had to trim down the drip trays a bit, but I'll figure out something with them down the road. Quote
skitchin Posted May 3, 2012 Report Posted May 3, 2012 Actually looks pretty damn good! Do they sit totally flush? Is that an SLP spoiler on the trunk? Quote
94 olds vert Posted May 3, 2012 Report Posted May 3, 2012 I really like them on that car. Looks like you did a good job installing them. Quote
budsjlm Posted May 3, 2012 Report Posted May 3, 2012 me looks like the don't quiet sit flust, but Monte Vs TGP hood there is a bit ore curve to the MC hood, suprising i don't hate it, whats the car sitting back there that looks to be in pieces? Quote
enzo354 Posted May 3, 2012 Author Report Posted May 3, 2012 They sit totally flush besides on the front, the hood makes a U shape there. I'm going to find a way to get it to sit better though. The spoiler is the nascar spoiler, and the car in the back is a rolled intrigue. Quote
Ramblin Garage Posted May 3, 2012 Report Posted May 3, 2012 I like it, it's something new and looks cool, did you put the drip pans in there? Well done! Quote
AL Posted May 3, 2012 Report Posted May 3, 2012 Brock, that looks a hell of alot better than I would have expected it to Quote
GP1138 Posted May 3, 2012 Report Posted May 3, 2012 I don't like it but it looks like it's installed very well! Quote
Z34guy Posted May 3, 2012 Report Posted May 3, 2012 Personally, I think they'd look better on a gen 1.5 Monte. :/ Looks good though. Just doesn't flow with the car's body lines. Quote
Cully77 Posted May 4, 2012 Report Posted May 4, 2012 I think they might look better if they were molded into the hood, but as it sits I'm not really a fan Quote
Mel87 Posted May 5, 2012 Report Posted May 5, 2012 Looks alright from a side view, but in all honesty I am not a big fan of it. Maybe like said, if it were embedded in to the hood it would probably look pretty nice. Quote
enzo354 Posted May 5, 2012 Author Report Posted May 5, 2012 I wish they were molded in as well, but they are just an add on to the TGP hood as well. Quote
Mel87 Posted May 5, 2012 Report Posted May 5, 2012 Thats true, I just thing they follow the TGP's hood shape and lines more effectively than it does the Monte. Quote
1988PhantomFE3 Posted May 5, 2012 Report Posted May 5, 2012 I love em! Does rain get down in there? Quote
enzo354 Posted May 11, 2012 Author Report Posted May 11, 2012 So far I've driven it in the rain and power washed it, I'm careful but had no issue yet. I love though that I can feel heat coming out of them when it sits there idling. Quote
pshojo Posted May 12, 2012 Report Posted May 12, 2012 are those custom head lights? did yo buy or make those? Quote
enzo354 Posted May 14, 2012 Author Report Posted May 14, 2012 They are the black housings, with led strips under them. Quote
ReBlown47 Posted June 26, 2012 Report Posted June 26, 2012 So water just drains right onto the engine? is that how is for the original tgp cars? Quote
intern8tion9l Posted June 26, 2012 Report Posted June 26, 2012 Not directly on the engine, but effectively....yes Quote
