1992 Euro 3.4 needs radiator

Well, my free fix didn't do the job. My radiator is still leaking. I'm not sure where from, but it's somewhere I cannot see.

I know it would be smarter to buy a new radiator, but I think that one from the yard will suffice, especially since this car has 209k miles. With as many GMs as picknpull has, I can probably find a low mileage one.

What I need to know are which radiators are compatible...I do have the factory trans cooler. Will the rad from any first gen automatic, LQ1 or not work? Or do I specifically have to find a radiator from an Auto LQ1 powered W?

Thanks in advance!

your leak is 95% chance right at the top on the driver's side front plastic tank end of the radiator where the coolant from the engine contacts the plastic. RTV might give you a could months to go.... but do find a full thickness radiator, as I have and will do to All my cars.

Remove YOUR radiator, haul it to a local radiator repair shop. They're in the Yellow Pages.

They inspect, clean, and repair your radiator, or they are able to supply a new one.

You buy a radiator from a salvage yard, the first thing you do is...take it to a rad shop for inspection.

The leak is on the driver side, but it's pissing straight out of the bottom. I will do my best to find an LQ1 radiator, but if I can't, what I can find will suffice.
