3pt1lumina
Odd situation here. This morning I was going to take my dad's Z over to him, and while it was idling in my driveway, I noticed a fuel smell coming from the engine area. So I looked and on where the one fuel line goes into the rear of the fuel rail it was leaking from there. I went out and bought a new little rubber gasket for inside, replaced it, stopped the leak...until the fuel warmed up then it started leaking again. So, do I need to try again with a new rubber O-ring gasket thingy or do I need a line? I tried to follow the line but I can't see where it goes beneath the airbox. The 3 Volume GM service manual doesn't show the damn line either. If I can't get this to stop leaking, I'll have to have it towed to my dad's buddy's shop...trying not to do that. Help! AL
Where did you get the gasket from? The one on my Grand Am started leaking but the oring that came in the Felpro gasket kit fixed the leak
carkhz316
Some parts stores/ shops have fuel line repair kits that they may rent out that allow you to repair the plastic line up by the rail with a union. Easy to use (provided there's some sort of instructions). This will allow you to replace the connector with a new one as well. I had to do this on my top-swap as I had to extend the lines, and add 90* elbows so it would work with the rearward facing fuel rail lines. This, until I plunk down for some stainless steel braided ones.

Al, what I bought was just some cheap rubber o-rings from the HELP area at Advance. They said they didn't have anything other than those for my issue. Maybe I'll try another store or something. AL
Felpro sells orings specifically for the fuel line/rail, perhaps they didnt properly look it up
