RobertISaar Posted April 15, 2012 Report Posted April 15, 2012 figured that part out, it's the stuff underneath i can't read. LOOKS like 0-60, 1/4 mile ETs, but i can't actually read it. Quote
RobertISaar Posted April 15, 2012 Report Posted April 15, 2012 Q4 5 speed MPG is 23/33 according to the old rating system. Quote
ricklovin93 Posted April 15, 2012 Author Report Posted April 15, 2012 yea i just realized i forgot that Quote
RobertISaar Posted April 15, 2012 Report Posted April 15, 2012 http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/calculatorCompareSideBySidePopUp.jsp?column=1&id=7759 23/33 http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/calculatorCompareSideBySidePopUp.jsp?column=1&id=7932 17/27 keep in mind the Q4 likes premium though, while the LQ1 doesn't NEED anything more than 87. ricklovin93 Posted April 15, 2012 Author Report Posted April 15, 2012 what are the problem areas on a beretta? Quote
RobertISaar Posted April 15, 2012 Report Posted April 15, 2012 finding one that hasn't had the piss beaten out of it? Quote
ricklovin93 Posted April 15, 2012 Author Report Posted April 15, 2012 what i mean is whats the achilles heel of a beretta any major rust areas, i cant find any info Quote
ScoobyDoo82 Posted April 15, 2012 Report Posted April 15, 2012 Berettas like to rust in the door jambs and this usually goes through to the rockers. Also behind the taillights and trunk jamb. That and paper thin interior materials (they shred easily) I can't think of other problems with them. Quote
ScoobyDoo82 Posted April 15, 2012 Report Posted April 15, 2012 Heres a pic of mine... right in front of the PS wheel was a MASSIVE rust hole among the others I listed above... Quote

ricklovin93 Posted April 15, 2012 Author Report Posted April 15, 2012 i think i might stay with a W not sure though Quote
Andrew Posted April 15, 2012 Report Posted April 15, 2012 GTZ Q4 5-speeds are damn hard to come by. The Q4 likes to eat headgaskets, brakes suck, typical 20 year old car rot. Quote
ricklovin93 Posted April 15, 2012 Author Report Posted April 15, 2012 i cant decide, this is too stressful Quote
RobertISaar Posted April 15, 2012 Report Posted April 15, 2012 brakes can be upgraded fairly easily... i know of a few berettas with F-body stuff on them. not sure what to think of the headgaskets though. perhaps better parts exist now than what the factory put on? also, there were at least GTZs close by me last time i checked craigslist, none of them over $2K either. but now they seem to be completely gone. ricklovin93 Posted April 15, 2012 Author Report Posted April 15, 2012 Im sure a q4 is easier to work on than a lq1 Quote
runt Posted April 15, 2012 Report Posted April 15, 2012 You are comparing 20 year old cars that are no longer in production. This seems like a silly thread. Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk Quote

Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk then stay out of my thread if its "silly" we all drive 20 year old cars that are no longer in production, so are you trying to say this whole site is "silly" Quote
RobertISaar Posted April 15, 2012 Report Posted April 15, 2012 i think he's referring to you using factory fresh specs on cars that are most certainly not factory fresh anymore. Quote
ricklovin93 Posted April 15, 2012 Author Report Posted April 15, 2012 well i dont have access to dyno sheets of stock engines with 100,000+ miles, so that is all i can use to compare them, Quote
