hoodilio
OK right now i have a 3100v6 in my 1993 Cutlass. What would be involved in swapping a 3.4 DOHC into it, what about a 3400v6, and what about a 3800 or 3800S.C.. Ive have herd some about swapping the 3800S.C.. But the 3.4 DOHC might sound good, my little bro just got a 1991 Z28 and unless i do something drastic my car will be left in the dust. Yeah man I feel you about the whole Z28 thing, my little bro, whose only 15, has a 1996 Z28 and it has a chip, cam and no cat back to flowmaster . I've got some work to do. By the way whats the difference between a 3.4 DOHC and 3400. And which is better
Aaron
3.4L is the DOHC produced from 1991-1996. dropped becuz it didnt make the low end that the average consumer wants. 3400 is the 3.4L V6, pushrodded. it makes very good low and mid range, but is done racing by 5000rpm. form a daily driver standpoint, 3400 is better. racing standpoint, a 3.4L will eat the shit outta one.
