5speedz34
I plan to do a performance rebuild soon and I wanted to know if one could get a '95 motor to work on a '92 Z34. I've seen a gp with a 95 motor hooked up to a '93 harness. The reason I ask is I have a connection to a '95 motor for cheap.

Redfox340
No i mean connecting a '95 into a '92 harness still using OBD 1. That won't work. You'll need the ECM from the donor car when swaping powerplants. - Erik
Robby1870
In 95 was the DOHC SFI or MPI? If it was SFI, then using the 92 harness will make it MPI. Both used the same tranny, so problems there, besides the Injection stuff, it should work just fine, they used the same sensors. I cant think of anything else, maybe some one else will. You will need the ECM from the
5speedz34
Well, I think if I just take the intake and change it to the map setup it should work. The 94+ was MAF and SFI.
