AL
Olds wheels are 6.5" wide and I think they are 15" wheels and look like this: 1st gen Pontiac Grand Prix ones are 8" wide and 16" tall and look like this: Bonneville xlace ones look the same as the GP ones but are only 7" wide: Second Gen xlaces are known as torque laces and look like this:
ricklovin93
i can run the 1st gen gp xlaces in my cutlass with no problems right? they are not to wide are they? Im worried about the offset, and and if the tires will rub in the wheel wells.

ricklovin93
that is sexy, you gotta admit that is one of the cleanest wheel combinations for a white cutlass

pshojo
There is just something about triple white that just works well with black rims. Its kind of like black with chrome rims.
pshojo
DROOL! I was wondering what the 90 back blackened tail lights would look like on my 95 black sedan.. That is one sharp looking car! Droooll.....
CSI_MuNkY
Thanks Rims are the 16x8" cross laces Tires are Hankook Ventus RS2 245/45/16 in the front and Hankook Ventus RS3 225/50/16 in the rear The RS3's are a touch narrower, but they are quite a bit more sticky so its a pretty even balance

ricklovin93
how far do the tires stick out of the wheel wells?
LuminaPower92
Depends on the car. Also depends on the tire size. I rock nothin less then 245/50/16 on laces. Period. Oh btw. Found out doing the 96+ front knuckle swap, pushes out the front wheels a bit. Noticed the difference between my White Lumina and Silver Lumina. Schurkey
Curious: How many different "finishes" were available on the Pontiac Crosslace wheels? I just bought a set from a '93 GP; I thought they were going to be gold, but if they were...the gold came off with the brake dust when I cleaned 'em. Used plain old Simple Green and a toothbrush. (These wheels were FILTHY, one was so bad that at first I thought it had been through a fire--but there's no sign of melting or heat distortion, and the tire is fine. Just really, really covered in ick.) At any rate, they've got corrosion issues around the edges and they're plain aluminum-colored in most places now. I'll probably have to have the tires removed to address some bead-leak issues. Came with two decent and two usable-for-a-little-while tires, and the price was very acceptable.
