jdcutty1
im in the process of putting my 96 back together and found a leak on the pedal side of the clutch master cylinder. it is the twist-lock style and i have not been able to find one that matches in any part store. mostly because i dont know exactly what car it came out of. if anyone can give me a year/make/model or send me a link to where i can find one, id appreciate it. i stole this pic from another thread, but this is what it looks like. White93z34
the one from the master. it sounds like you just need one for a 89 2.8/5 speed GP
gtp237
He's right. That is a clutch master cylinder for a 89 grand prix 2.8. I got mine off rockauto.com but I'm sure you could get it at a parts store as well. If you need help bleeding it send me a message

intern8tion9l
do they sell them as an entire system(slave and master)? might be worth a couple extra pennies to not have to bleed it
gtp237
do they sell them as an entire system(slave and master)? might be worth a couple extra pennies to not have to bleed it GM use to sell complete assemblies because they told their mechanics it was unbleedable. I don't know if gm still stocks the complete units but I have come up with a way to bleed the system.
Mach 5
if it was un-bleedable then how they bleed it from the factory?? I can check this week if they still can get them whole.
TGP5sp90
I bought both master and slave from Rockauto and they put directions on how to install with items purchased. Including how to bleed them.
