ABS nitro filled brake cylinder dead?? i think?

so, my mom has a 1989 oldsmobile int'l edition, 2.8 multi port with the crazy ABS module. It has been sitting since last year due to the fact that we have not been able to find a proper technician to assist us in diagnosing an issue! as far as i have been told, we the car has no brakes. we have changed the master brake cylinder (about 8 or so years ago now) with a brand new one from GM, which we can no longer find do to it being discontinued.

a few questions:

a: can i still find a new cylindeer (last one cost nearly $5000 CAD)

b: what else could the issue potentially be?

c: would anyone be able to lead me into a proper direction for solving/fixing this issue.

if we fill the brake fluid, we lose it all within a week ish, my dad things its a seal inside the cylinder (which doesn make sense to me) however i have a suspision it could simply be a brake line.

Either wayh i appriciate all of your help!

cheers!

You could have a bad proportioning valve its in front of the rear driver side wheel, Could be a bad backing plate on the unit itself.

Could be a blown out brake line, could be a broken caliper.

Symptoms would be best to help us diagnose it. Whereabouts are you located?

Problem is there are so many places to start with those.

Is the pump running? how many brake pedal presses does it take to make the pump run if so?
