mchill07 Posted March 15, 2012 Report Share Posted March 15, 2012 Recently I have noticed my windsheild fogging up over the defroster vent. This only happens when the a/c or heat is off. rich_e777 Posted March 15, 2012 Report Share Posted March 15, 2012 Its not your heater core, my `94 does the same thing sometimes and all the climate control works except the rear defogger (cant figure that one out). I bought one of these things that has a terry cloth at the end of a stick you can clean glass with without any kind of cleaner and that works perfectly and it was only $5 bucks. Have you cleaned your windshield good and thorogh and im talking a crackhead picking rocks of the grass thorogh. If its smoked in the tar or resin (depending on what you smoke) will build up on the glass and make it easier to fog up so if thats the case take some rubbing alcohol to it first and then use whatever you normally use and see if they fog up on you after that.
