wheres body tag in 92 ?

wheres the metal riveted body tag located in 92 on the cutty supremes ? i cant findmine anywhere i need to find out paint code, usually they were on rad support top side or on cowl area under widnshield in the past, but not on this car, hmm,,

Paint code is on the RPO code sticker usually on the spare tire cover in the trunk

so apparently GM quit affixing metal body tag to cars soemtime before 92?

 

i finally found the code in the SPID label list, thought i didnt see an L or U suffix code but did finally find 80U which is medium quasar blue metallic, im gonna go to a local autobody guy and ask him what he wants to repaint this hood for me, are these cars clearcoated ? at the bottom edge of the SPID lable on this car it says soemthing about base and clear, i cant tell by looking at the car if its got a clear coat over its paint or not

The metal plate was replaced by the sticker in supposedly '85. Before that, either was used depending on the model. I think the G-Bodys have the metal plate until they were done in '87-'88 however. I have a '78 Chevy C-10 pick-up that originally came with the sticker.
