Evaporator panel sweating issue?

The other day a friend pointed out that water was dripping from the passenger hush panel.

When I pulled it down I found that the evaporator box is sweating or condensing

and the water is dripping of of the bottom. The Drain is not clogged so Im

confused as to why this would happen. A/C works great.

I am the second owner of the car and was told the A/C has never needed service,

which means it would have the factory R-12 charge in it.

The sweating is normal, however it should not be dripping on your interior. either a seal or some sort has failed or the drain is not draining properly.

I had that problem, turns out the blend door had been dislodged from its normal position internally, and heated air (from the heater core) was being liberated into the evaporator compartment, causing not only the AC to work much harder, but also, the whole thing to thaw out at a far greater rate. In short, it was generating so much excess water that the drain just couldn't keep up.
