95cutlassproject
I recently purchased the seal that the window sits in when it all the way up after months of working to verify a loud wind noise from my door. As I started to pull the old seal away i was greeted by metal tab at both ends where the seal goes into the mirrors and the back of the door. Since I am replacing these and all data does not list a way to replace these (haven't have much luck searching either) Does anyone have a suggestion for me? GOT2B GM
the a-pillar seal is held by a metal channel, you have to gently pull and work the seal out of that metal channel. Edited March 6, 2012 by GOT2B GM
95cutlassproject
Okay that helps with the removal. The replacement seal does not look like it would fit into that channel though.
GOT2B GM
use a small screwdriver and gently help push the lip of the seal back into the channel during re-installation
