redmetrix Posted March 3, 2012 Report Share Posted March 3, 2012 (edited) The keyless does not work on my 98 Regal, I have a known good remote. Any ideas on what might be the problem? I tried doing the in the programming procedure in the owners manual and nothing happens. I am familiar with the keyless on the 1st generation W-Bodys. The keyless did not work on my 93 GTP when I bought it; I took out the receiver, re-soldered all the connections, and it worked fine after that. Red Nightmare Posted March 5, 2012 Report Share Posted March 5, 2012 I did that too for two different modules but both times they failed not too long after. The second one works when it wants to. Not sure if I did something wrong. I have a diagram for the pinout that could be used in an aftermarket module, only bummer is it would not have the features of the original.
