AL
Im going to get a new fuel pump for the Regal since I have alot of driving to do this weekend and dont wanna risk running out again... Ive heard good things about Bosch and Walbro... Is rockauto still the cheapest to get one from or should I try a parts store with a discount code? carkhz316
Airtex Wells brand isn't the greatest. FWIW, I've had parts stores recommend against using them (no, they weren't trying to upsell me either.) Bosch is okay. I don't know about the rest of you, but even in some vehicles where the FP isn't terrible to do, it's still one of the those things that I don't want to be stranded in the middle of nowhere with. Here's the discerning factor for me (and I recommend for you): if you looking to get rid of a vehicle, throw a cheapo in it. If it's your baby/ DD/ SO's vehicle; I would spend the extra money and get something of better quality: either AC Delco or Delphi, since that's what our GM vehicles love, right? Addicted To Boost
I put a Bosch pump in my old 88 GP that I traded Buck a week ago and it seemed to work well. MUCH quieter than the stock pump and it wasn't horribly expensive. $64 IIRC. I think it was like $25 cheaper than the Delphi. I remember either Dinunzio or Shaun putting one in one of their TGPs and they seemed to like it as well, that's why I went with the Bosch. iTurbo
I put a new Delphi fuel pump from Napa in the Regal GS a couple weekends ago. I had to change out the whole carrier assembly because of a leaky check valve at the top so it was pretty spendy, like around $300. One of my friends works at Napa and he said I should definitely get the Delphi over the Bosch because they sometimes have returns on the Bosch ones. I've always used Walbro 255 ltr/hr pumps in my turbo mopars and never had a problem with those either.
AL
I posted up looking for a good used one on clubgp, no replies yet, the Delphi is the cheapest of the three mentioned at 275 bucks shipped... I was considering buying the cheapest pump and just replacing the sending unit with the new one
Garrett Powered
I have used lots of stock gm and walbro and other brands that flow the same as walbro 255 lph like "TRE Performance" 255 liters per hour I got off ebay for 100 bucks. the tre performance one was quieter. I don't have too much conclusive evidence about each kind, but I like being able to hear the walbro in my black car. sounds cool.
19Cutlass94
I always thought AC Delco / Delphi was the way to go
