I have a 1998 oldsmobile intrigue with a blowin 3.8 engine. I have a 1998 buick regal car that was in an accident and the engine is good but it has a supersharged engine. will it fit? and will the engine harness of the regal fit the olds

engine fit? yes

engine harness? PROBABLY, but i'm not 100%.

they are both gen 2 W-bodies, so i would THINK it's the same, but i would wait for someone else to chime in.

Im sorry to hear about your engine. Im assuming your Intrigue is the NA version the l36. and the regal was a GS that had the SC version the L67. the Regal L67 will physically fit. but you may need a diff flex plate and tq converter from what i heard. i wouldnt use the Regal harness as i dont know if the pinouts are the same and if they will match up to the body connector. your best bet would be to keep your current harness and add the BBV solonoide wires and swap the plug for the MAP sensor. then all you need is the PCM from the regal and all should be good. or you can not add the wires and have your Intrigue PCM retuned to control the L67 while still using your l36 MAP sensor and not using the BBV solonoide.

Hopefully either HP tuners or DHP supports your PCMs OSID or a similar one. IIRC its not as easy as using the regal's computer as the intrigue is way more databused as in your gauges may not work if you just dump the regal PCM in

You can do a few different things...

dump the regal engine and transmission in

dump the engine in

the wiring is almost 100% the same. you will not have a plug for the BCS solenoid and the map will be in the wrong place, along with the purge solenoid. the purge solenoid you can leave where it is... at least I did. MAP you will need a pigtail and extend the map wiring around the back where it is on the L67s.

biggest hurdle will be the computer, not sure how easy/hard that is on an intrigue.

You can after all just take the S/C belt off and run it as an N/A engine. Would be kind of a waste but it still would run without being supercharged at all. I've run mine for a day like that.

I drove mine around for months with the belt hooked up and nothing special done to it when I was sorting out the computer. so long as you don't have the BCS bypassed it wont boost anyhow.
