ricklovin93
i found this unconnected. it was towards the rear of the engine. I bought this car from someone who had the engine replaced a while ago. The shop that put this motor on did a horrible job so now i have to fix their mistakes, the engine runs perfectly fine but jst knowing something is not connected is bothering the shit out of me any suggestions on where it might go to? AL
It goes to the power steering pump... However, not all cars got the option of the NV7 variable assist power steering... Which means you wont have a plug on your power steering pump (or might and they forgot to plug it in)... These cars are all prewired for it but not all got the option

AL
I think the rack and pinion might need changed to make it work... Ive owned one car with and a couple without, I never noticed a difference
RobertISaar
the EBCM controls the variable pump assist, so if your current EBCM is setup for it, then you can plug it in and it should work, if you had the correct pump.
