Hello and greetings. I am in the mist of planning an engine swap for my 95 cutlass supreme sl.

List of what i current have confirmed to make this work.

(comfirmed)

External crank tigger

new cam resized to fit new journal or lock the vvt cam

using the 3900 rail by using a fuel regulator with a bypass

north start throttle body and adapter

(unsure/ needing to know)

If i get the engine from a impala will the compressor line up so i can still retain my ac

Have been told that the engine mounts should all line up.

Injector connections from the donor car should work if i soder the connectos on

Any help to make my list more complete would be nice.

Thank you in advance.

I have been told the lx9 will be easier. I was just wondering if anyone had done this swap and had any experience to give me so that i could makea complete list and possibly document this.

Not here, there is somebody on 60V6 who has done it. But from what I remember it was a lot of work just to get it to run, and run is about all that it does. You take away the VVT, the active intake and everything else to get it to run on another pcm or use megasquirt it becomes a pretty worthless swap. LX9 or L67/L32 the car.
