Addicted To Boost
Can't you utilize the ECM from the 3900 car to make the VVT work correctly?
jman093
No, it uses the GMLAN bus network.
19Cutlass94
Your better off getting a 3500.
95cutlassproject
I have been told the lx9 will be easier. I was just wondering if anyone had done this swap and had any experience to give me so that i could makea complete list and possibly document this. Not here, there is somebody on 60V6 who has done it. But from what I remember it was a lot of work just to get it to run, and run is about all that it does. You take away the VVT, the active intake and everything else to get it to run on another pcm or use megasquirt it becomes a pretty worthless swap. LX9 or L67/L32 the car. jman093
I've never read up on what's needed for the LX9 swap. I know you'll need that though: http://wot-tech.com/shop/gm-60v6/external-crank-trigger/prod_42.html
