ScoobyDoo82 Posted January 28, 2012 Report Posted January 28, 2012 Well I just put a JVC HU in my 1991 GP but now the door speakers don't work. I searched the site and couldn't find an answer but is there some sort of amp or module I have to bypass to get the speakers working? With a normal GM radio they work so I know its not the speakers. I know GM liked to use a bunch of pointless modules around this era. Quote
xtremerevolution Posted January 28, 2012 Report Posted January 28, 2012 Simple. Trace the speaker wires from the doors. Someone here should be able to tell you what color they might be. Sent from my HTC Awesome using Tapatalk Quote
ScoobyDoo82 Posted January 28, 2012 Author Report Posted January 28, 2012 Figured it out with the help of Nunzi... I had no voltage going to the amp from the radio, I spliced the ignition switched wire to the amp wire and everythings good. Quote
Garrett Powered Posted January 30, 2012 Report Posted January 30, 2012 nice , my 88 was set up right when I bought it. but I never did hook back up the door speakers right when I took out the factory deck in my red 90 tgp. I need to get on that. it seems like it would be easy enough to do. what color are the wires? Quote
