92 grand prix se
I have a 92 grand prix with a 3.1 with 80,000 miles , at times it will crank with a bump of the key next time it will take about 5 seconds or more of cranking, it may start up and stay running or may start for a second and die I may have to do it a couple of tries when it fires I will have rev it up slightly for a couple of seconds to keep it running but has never not started, and while driving it might die at idle or may not it has died up to 5 times in a 30minute drive time, so fare I replaced the injector o rings, intake manifold plenum gasket, egr valve, a/c delco spark plugs, plug wires cleaned the throttle body, and cleaned out the egr port on the intake it was nearly stopped up and blew out the carbon build up. Its had a hard start for the past year or so but it has been getting worse
94 olds vert
I'd say fuel pump or fuel injector issue. Test for fuel pressure should be around 40 PSI. Injectors should ohm out to 13. Anything less and they might be bad. Take the fuel pump test lead and connect it the positive terminal on the battery should be able to hear it run. 94 olds vert
Well that's good. Hiw about the ICM/Coils? Those could cause that problem. I'm still thinking it could be Clogged/Bad injectors.

virtuetovice
It might also help to do an idle relearn after so much work has been done.

94 olds vert
Try a junkyard. That's the only thing I can say. I replaced mine with a junkyard part.
Leo090
When was the last time you changed your battery? If its older than 5 yrs replace it, and test the voltage on your current battery. Maybe try a Idle Air Control Relearn, if that doesnt work, maybe you need a new Idle Air Control Sensor. These are just guesses
