99RegalGS
I think that the coils are the same but the control moduals are not.
GPRACER
1994-2002 3100-3400 sfi engines have the same coils and modules, My car is a '95 and I had 2 coils go bad at the same time. I got the whole bracket at a junk yard with coils and module from a 2001 Grand Am 3400. Just bolted the whole bracket on. Works fine. 4spdz34
as long as the coils and modules are they same style they are all interchangable. u could use one from a 3.8 on a 2.8....makes no difference
99RegalGS
I thought that the 3800 modules were different because they used the "C3" ignition system.
GPRACER
I don't think you can interchange modules from different engine families. 2.8 and 3.1 would probably be the same. 3100/3400 are definately yhe same, 3800/3300 would probably be the same. In all applications mentioned above the coils can be interchanged
