Replacing ECT on a 1995 LQ1 without removing plenum

Hello All,

I finally found why I keep getting air in the system and the fans turning on late. I have a leak on the bottom on my radiator. Since I have a lifetime warranty I got a replacement and will be installing this weekend along with hoses, t-stat and new coolant. I also wanted to change out my ECT for my fans but it is on the plenum and I have done this before but I want to know if anyone has replaced the ECT without having to remove the plenum. I know there is couple of thing in the way, can they be moved out of the way or do I have to suck it up and remove the plenum?

Thanks,

OZ37K

i've never changed mine without having the plenum off, but it should become fairly apparent after a couple minutes of trying whether you'll have sufficient access with the plenum installed.
