Crazy K Posted December 5, 2011 Report Share Posted December 5, 2011 (edited) remove the IAC, take and clean out its' port with carb cleaner and a tooth brush/bottle brush, etc, and reinstall. make sure you don;t loose the O-ring. unhook battery to reset everything, (negative terminal!) Once you are ready to start it back up, turn the key to run without starting the engine and wait ten seconds before starting, the pcm will run the IAC through it's travel to relearn it. I wish GM just used one method across all product lines/years I've seen about 6 different methods of idle relearn so far. thanks again!
