92GrandPrixSE Posted December 3, 2011 Report Posted December 3, 2011 I was looking for the color code on the girlfriends car the other day and saw a sticker on the door. It said modified by ASC. Is this ASC Mclaren? What does this mean? Quote
Psych0matt Posted December 3, 2011 Report Posted December 3, 2011 ASC is not McLaren. ASC (American Sunroof Company) designed the B4U body cladding that started on the TGPs, and McLaren did the engine work on the TGPs. Quote
92GrandPrixSE Posted December 4, 2011 Author Report Posted December 4, 2011 It said what ASC stood for, but I don't think it was American Sunroof Company. And I'm used to seeing ASC/McLaren do to Mustangs and Capris. Thanks though. I was wondering wtf we had, lol. Quote
94 olds vert Posted December 4, 2011 Report Posted December 4, 2011 I have that same sticker on my GP. ASC is what ever Matt said it is. Quote
Psych0matt Posted December 4, 2011 Report Posted December 4, 2011 ASC=body stuff McLaren=engine stuff the TGPs were ASC/McLaren because they had both, but they are separate entities Quote
