Laveen Z34
My 93 Z34 dies or attempts to die when engine is cold. Any ideas why? But once it warms up everything is good.
Artemis
Do you rev it higher to stop it from stalling?
Laveen Z34
Do you rev it higher to stop it from stalling? Yes. Initially after it stalls. But like what I said, once it warms up, it's all good....

Galaxie500XL
Bad coolant temp sensor. The engine is running lean, becuase the temp sensor thinks the engine is warmer than it really is. Check with a scantool...let the car sit overnight. Coolant temp reading from the scantool should be very close to actual air temp. I'm betting you'll find that the sensor is reporting the temperature at least 20 degrees warmer than the actual coolant temp.
