Aaron
manual, stock rev limiter at 7250, revved that high when racing at track, 127,000 miles, and yah, a shorter life span obviously...not all my fault tho, the previous owners beat the shit outta this car. kiwi133
hmmm, how about you worry about your tranny exploding into millions of bits shifting above 6500rpm before you worry about the motor (if tranny is stock)

Vegeta
uh guys, its 7150 RPM. The 5 speed can take it, the auto will hate you for going that high. I dunno about longevity cause no one has been able to go to 7000 for more than a year AFAIK, which isn't enough miles to know anything. GrandPrix34
ima set my rev limit to S2000 status...10k!!! ...then just watch my hood fly open wit my tranny going wit it
4spdz34
i take first gear to like 6800-6900 amd second to 7100. my trans was rebuilt the same time that i got my chip and i have 9000 miles on both, no problems yet. and my trans probaly hates me . i havethe accumulator pistons setup so i get rubber inbetween gears. i practice very strict maintence on my car though.
