ron350
Moog problem solver ball joints? Has any one used the new Moog problem solver ball joint that has the press on rubber boot? The part number for the old style and the new problem solver appears to be the same # K5301. I wish I could find an exact replacement to the factory sealed ball joint but can’t find one.. alec_b
The moogs are fine. Used them plenty of times with good results.
White93z34
Personally I'm not impressed with Moog's product as of late. Seems they have cheaped it out a lot. I still need to warranty the tie rod end that had the zerk fall out.
Identity_Crisis
I have them in my 96 GXP and they work great. You cant go wrong with MOOG.
ron350
It would appear that Moog Problem Solver parts have Problem Solver stamped on them. The Problem Solver tie rods and ball joints look beefier than the Moog part they replace but time will tell if they are better.
mhildebrand
When i replaced the ball joints in my cutlass, i had to use MOOG parts. the others, which i cant remember the name of now, wouldnt fit. They were too deep by a quarter of an inch and the mounting flange was that far away from the arm.
