the "check gaugees" light has been flickering and coming on everytime I accelerate. Would this be stored as a trouble code?

there are NO sensors sensing anything within the timing belt, camshafts and valves right? The mechanics that retimed my DOHC left the car shuttering horrbily. I am gonna take it tomorrow so they can pull the cam carriers cuz there is one bolt that is oscillating very fucked up (click on my WWW button and go to the mutlimedia section). THey say maybe the camshaft is damaged but i dont know...how can a camshaft get damaged?

The only thing I could think of is lac of oil to the cam.

I remember seeing that video to.

if you get 12 yes all electronic sensors and such are in order but the noise cam gear doing what it does is no good

but you know all this

I would suggest to check your oil level and topped it off. Around 3,000 Miles and without adding oil, the check engine usually comes on once in a while.

No, that's a Service Engine Light; and that would store a code.

Your "Check Gauges" means that one of your valuable fluids are low or over / under the limit.

When was this doing it? We're you running on a low tank of gas?

If you're accelerating hard and it's not the coolant or gas, then I would say that it's a oil related issue.

Could be as easy as an Oil Pressure Sending (OPS) unit or a fading Oil Pump.

Dig around, test a few things and make sure everything is up to par.

my check gauges light comes on every time my gas tank is around 3 gal. Yeah, just listen to redfox, its most likely a fluid problem.
