Starter issues.

1994 Grand Prix LQ1

 

Supposedly a 3100 starter

 

Wire from solenoid to starter motor itself is all burnt up.

 

Questions:

 

1. Will a new mini-torque starter from like a 3400/3500 work?

2. What wires hook up to the main power terminal? If someone could look at/take a pic at their own, I would be forever indebted.

Never mind on question 1..... an actual 3.4 starter is quite a bit cheaper anyways.
